Wow! I can't believe the amount of new tech announcements that have happened or the launches that have happened in India on the 18th of Sept 2013. This is a phenomenal day, unlike any that i have ever seen or witnessed.

To summarize some of the launches/announcements that came on this day were:

Is Nokia 1020 India launch this week?

I wonder why has Nokia or Microsoft or who ever else is out there has not launched the Nokia 1020 in India yet. India is one of the very few markets where Nokia still enjoys a lot of brand value.

What leads me to speculate of the imminent launch is the tweeting of the link of the Katy Perry video on Nokia India's timeline (@NokiaIndia) only a few minutes back.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is offering a accessories package worth INR 19,624 with this phone. It can be bought from Samsung Store at INR 30,590. It still says as coming soon and shipping soon. However it can be bought from most online retailers in India for approximately INR 29,990.

This is the vision of the great Samsung for most of the world especially the Indians. I am saying especially the Indians because as per the latest data on mobile phone trends in India, we seem to prefer large screen phones and this one is right up there in terms of size.

New Nokia Lumia 1520 aka Bandit press photo leaked

@evleaks has now shown to the world a press photo of the Nokia Lumia 1520 aka Bandit. It can be seen here:

It shows a huge screen possibly a 6 inch 1080p screen as per speculation. Also it is showing a camera bump similar to the one seen on Lumia 925.
